SOA honoured with My City Links Corporate Icon Award

Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) has been honoured as Odisha’s premier university in the ‘My City Links Corporate Icon Awards 2022’ on Sunday.

The award was presented to SOA in the third edition of the annual honours held at Konark for excellence in the field of professional education.

 Famous Bollywood actor, fashion designer and TV anchor Mandira Bedi attended the programme as special guest from whom SOA’s Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das and Public Relations Officer Ms. Subhadarshini Mishra received the award.

Similarly, Dr. Priya Priyadarshini Nayak, Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology at SUM Ultimate Medicare here was honoured on the occasion for exceptional service in the field of healthcare.

Prameya News 7 television channel was chosen to be honoured at the function for its special programme ‘Explore Odisha’ showcasing the state’s art, culture, sculpture, handiworks and different places of tourist importance.

Speaking on the occasion, Bedi said she was overwhelmed by the beauty of the Sun Temple at Konark and would look forward to visiting the place again and again.

The programme was organised in the Eco Retreat premises on the Konark beach in collaboration with the state tourism department. A cultural programme was also organised to mark the event.
