Malkangiri Chief Agriculture Officer under Vigilance scanner

Bhubaneswar: Malkangiri district Chief Agriculture Officer M Anand Rao is under Vigilance scanner for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets.

Vigilance sleuths today conducted simultaneous raids at six places in Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Visakhapatnam.

The raids are being conducted on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income, said a Vigilance official.

Raids are on to calculate his disproportionate assets, said the official.
