Odisha: Online application for Rs 50,000 Covid death compensation

Covid death compensation at caps.odisha.gov.in: The Odisha Government has asked the family members of persons, who died due to Covid-19 to apply before their respective collector or municipal commissioners for the compensation of Rs 50,000.

The state government has also urged the kin of the Covid victims to apply before May 28, 2022.

According to the officials, the families of the Covid victims can apply for the ex-gratia at caps.odisha.gov.in.

For deaths after March 20, the applicants will get 90 days time from the date of death due to Covid-19 to file the claim for compensation.

Besides, the applicants will have to submit the identity proof, Covid-19 death certificate, proof of relationship with the deceased and bank account details.
