MYTHONAMA authors interact with readers at Walking BookFairs

Mudita Chauhan Mubayi and Aditya Nath Mubayi, authors of MYTHONAMA, the big book of Indian mythologies, today interacted with readers at Bhubaneswar based independent book store ‘Walking BookFairs’ on Tuesday.

The writer duo also hosted a fun quiz on mythology. Besides, Mudita and Adittya explained several concepts of myths and legends from the Avesta, Quran, Mahabharata, and powerful deities and magical creatures like Hanuman, Leviathan and Maitreya.

Later, the duo singed books for the readers.

MYTHONAMA celebrates India’s cultural diversity and highlights India’s inclusive and secular culture through its many mythologies. With a unique blend of storytelling, encyclopaedic information and quiz-based engagement activities, this book would take readers of all ages on a fascinating journey beyond just gods and goddesses — bringing to life lesser-known lore and common themes, weaving ideas and stories from many traditions and religions.

For 25 years, Mudita has worked extensively in media and publishing as a journalist with TOI and an editor with Penguin India. Adittya is one of India’s top quizmasters and has headed Research for Kaun Banega Crorepati and Mastermind India.

Together, they have hosted over 5000 quiz shows. After authoring textbooks and quizbooks, they now write books for young readers.
