Bhubaneswar: The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) regional centre on Tuesday predicted rain with lightning within two hours.
“Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at some parts of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities in the next two hopurs,” said the IMD on twitter.
Yellow Warning:
The IMD has also issued yellow warning for several districts of the State. “Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Nuapada, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack,” IMD said in its mid-day bulletin.
The alert has been sounded on these districts till Wednesday 8.30 pm.
