OTDC Raja Mahotsav 2022 inaugurated at Saheed Nagar Puja Mandap

The OTDC Raja Mahotsav 2022 at Saheed Nagar Puja Mandap was inaugurated today by Director Tourism Sachin Jadhav. Jadhav lighted the lamp and officially declared the Mahotsav open.

 ‘The Raja Mahotsav is being organised for the first time by OTDC. This Mahotsav will provide a platform for Women SHGs & Entrepreneurs who have struggled during COVID, to garner good business to help them in gaining financial independence. The prime objective behind organising the Mahotsav was to celebrate the fervour associated with Raja’ said Sachin Jadhav, Director Tourism.

Also present on the occasion were OSD Tourism Ansuman Rath, Divisional Manager OTDC Pranab Chand, Company Secretary OTDC Prashant Panda & other senior officials of Odisha Tourism and OTDC.

On this occasion, Cultural Performances were showcased by Sur Vibration Bhubaneswar, Banishree Kalaniketan Malkangiri and Silpi Entertainment Puri.

For the first time OTDC has involved SHGs who have set up 30 stalls showcasing various products relating to Odia Cuisine & Culture. The Raja Doli and selfie zone set up in the Mahotsav drew huge crowds on the opening day of the Mahotsav.
