Low pressure area likely over north Odisha in 48 hrs; several dists to experience heavy rainfall

The cyclonic circulation lies over Bangladesh & neighbourhood extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over north Odisha and neighbourhood during next the 48 hours, said IMD in a bulletin.

Yellow Warning( Be updated): 1 Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Angul, Jajpur, Koraput.

2. Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati,Sundargarh, Deogarh, Bargarh, Kalahandi, Nuapada.

3. Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal.
