A Student’s Guru Dakshina for her Guru through Contribution to Mo College

The joy of giving back is immense and Mo College Abhijan is a platform where various Alumni have experienced the sheer happiness of giving back to the Alma Mater.

Following the ideology, Dr Snehalata Das, Mo College Coordinator at Ramadevi Women’s University has contributed Rs. 1 Lakh to Mo College Abhijan in the memory of her Hindi teacher Late Prof Dr. Radhakanta Mishra. The contribution shall go towards construction of a smart classroom for Hindi Department at the university.

“A student is nothing without her teacher and during my University days, Prof Radhakanta Mishra supported me unconditionally and protected me like my parents. From getting my doctorate to writing my first book, he had always inspired me to achieve big. Therefore, contributing in Dr Mishra’s memory is my way of offering Guru Dakshina to him” expresses Dr Snehalata Das.

The Mo College Abhijan is a flagship initiative of the Govt of Odisha under the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. It has been functioning as a facilitator for the overall development of Universities and Colleges in the state.
