Casting couch: Akshay Parija moves to Orissa HC seeking anticipatory bail

Cuttack: Odia film producer Akshay Parija, who has been accused of sexually exploiting an aspiring actress, has moved to Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail.

As per reports, the actress, who hails from Bhubaneswar, has lodged a complaint with the Laxmisagar police alleging that Parija exploited her sexually for the last one and half years on the pretext of providing role in his upcoming films.

The actress also submitted some supporting photographs featuring some of her ordeals, caused by Parija. A video of Parija in intimate positions with the actress has also gone viral on social media platforms.

On the other hand, Parija rubbished the allegations leveled against him by the actress.

The producer had earlier filed a complaint against the girl at the Nayapalli police station alleging that the girl had invited him to her house for dinner and had recorded the video.
