MCL disposes 379 metric tons scrap during Swachhta Campaign 2.0


Sambalpur:   Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has cleaned a total of 64 sites, recovered an area of 5.27 lakh square feet and disposed of 379 metric tons scrap worth Rs. 154.25 lakh during ongoing Swachhta Campaign 2.0.

A comprehensive planning for cleanliness, space management and beautification of offices are taken up under this Special Campaign, which is implemented in and around office premises of company headquarters, operational Areas and Project Offices.

In this regard, cleanliness sites were identified well before the beginning of the campaign and redundant scrap material and obsolete items were identified for disposal as per the laid down rules and procedures of the company.

The campaign has been successful due to coordinated efforts of headquarters and area teams involved in Swachhta Campaign 2.0.
