Nandanik observes Rashtriya Ekta Divas

Koraput: Sangeet Natak Akademi and Nandanik observed Rashtriya Ekta Divas at Koraput through street theatre on Sardar Ballavbhai Patel on his birth anniversary.

 ‘Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi is organizing street theatre throughout India to pay tribute to Sardar Ballavbhai Patel on his birthday also known as Rashtriya Ekta Divas. Under this national level programme, Nandanik staged its street drama, “Louhamanab” at two spots in front of Koraput-District Culture Office at Collectorate Campus & Gurukul School at Pujariput.

The play is written by Gauriprasad Rath and directed by Monideepa Gupta and Saumendra Swain .

 The drama shows the role of Sardar Patel in unifying India. The District Culture Officer, Koraput, eminent personalities of Koraput, teachers & students of various schools, colleges and central university were present on the occasion.
