DAMaN movie now tax free in Odisha

The Odisha government on Friday announced Babushaan Mohanty starrer movie DAMaN tax-free.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced that the screening of the film Daman, made on the malaria prevention program of the Odisha government, is tax free.

The film is about the new example of humanity a young doctor has set in providing health care in the remote areas of Malkangiri district.

The Chief Minister hoped that this movie will motivate government employees including the health department to work with more dedication.

DAMaN is an Odia movie, which is inspired from a real event, that took place in tribal dominated Malkangiri district. The movie stars Babushaan Mohanty and Dipanwit Dasmohaptra in central characters.
