The Commissionrate police (CP) has issued a modified advisory and asked the commuters to avail the service road at VSS Nagar Chhak to proceed Rasulgarh, Palasuni and Bomikhal instead of Rasulgarh service road cut.
Similarly, the vehicles coming from Vani Vihar side will ply as usual on National Highway-16 to proceed towards Cuttack.
The Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has requested diversion of traffic during construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Rasulgarh on NH-16 to accommodate third Railway line between Bhubaneswar-Mancheswar.
Accordingly, public notice has been issued on November 22 from the Bhubaneswar police. DCP Traffic (BBSR-CTC), NHAI, RVNL and other officers inspected the newly constructed ROB at VSS Nagar connecting between VSS Nagar Chhak to Palasuni square via Rasulgarh service road and suggested to construct a new service road or diversion road to connect the existing 3-lane fly over for movement of the vehicles towards Cuttack.
