Central University of Odisha organizes Art & Craft Exhibition

An Art &Craft exhibition was organised by the Department of Education, Central University of Odisha, Koraput on 06 December 2022 at its Sunabeda Campus.

Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Odisha Prof. Chakradhar Tripathi inaugurated the exhibition and delivered the inaugural address.  Prof. Tripathi mentioned that Arts and Crafts activities are a part of learning for children.

He said, “It is not just to enjoy the break time, but also to develop aesthetic sense and concepts like colours, numbers and shapes of objects and more in the mind of children”.

The exhibition was organized by the trainee teachers of the Department under the direct supervision of faculty members & Head of the Department I/c, Dr. Ramendra Kumar Parhi.

Trainee teachers of the Dept. of Education prepared & exhibited painting, sculpture, paper crafts, decorative crafts, functional crafts & fashion crafts, and greetings cards under the guidance of Dr. Partha Pratim Das.
