Dense fog engulfs Bhubaneswar-Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: A thick blanket of fog engulfed the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar this morning affecting normal life adversely.

The dense cover of fog created troubles for hundreds of motorists who were seen struggling to navigate on the busy roads.

Due to the dense fog, visibility dropped to below 50 meters.

Earlier, several parts of Odisha had experienced the winter chill with minimum temperature dropping by two to four degrees to the normal temperature.

Normal life particularly in Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts was also hit due to extreme cold wave conditions in the past two days.

Earlier, the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that the minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to fall by around 2-4 degree Celsius at many places in Odisha from today.
