CBSE releases Class 10, 12 date sheet; exams to begin on Feb 15

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 and 12 board examinations. The annual test will begin from February 15, 2023.

Releasing the date sheet, the board said sufficient gap has been given between two subjects, and other factors such as competitive entrance tests have also been taken into account in deciding the dates.

“Sufficient Gap has been given in between two subjects generally offered by a student in both the classes. Competitive examinations, including JEE Main have been taken care of while preparing the date sheet for Class XII,” said CBSE in a circular.

These date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 40,000 subjects’ combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ examinations of a student’s fall on the same date.

 The time of the start of the examination will be at 10.30 AM (1ST) and the date-sheet is issued much in advance so that students can prepare well for their examinations, CBSE added.
