Odisha Congress MLA’s son arrested for creating ruckus at cinema hall


Balangir: The son of Kantabanjhi MLA and Congress leader, Santosh Singh Saluja has been arrested for creating ruckus at a cinema hall, police said today.

The accused identified as Seji Singh has been arrested under IPC sections 384, 506, 383 and Arms Act.

The ruckus was reported at Alishan cinema hall in Kantabanjhi. The son of the Congress MLA allegedly scuffled with the son of the theatre owner.

The legislator’s son also indulged into argument with police personnel during the ruckus.

The video of the entire incident later went viral on social media.

Police later seized Rs 19 lakh cash and liquor from his gym last night. He was later sent to judicial custody following rejection of his bail plea.
