Tension in Utkal University over JNU Professor’s statement

Bhubaneswar: Tension erupted at Utkal University after a clash broke out between two groups over some statements made by a JNU Professor during a seminar on Sunday.

Two persons were injured in the clash.

As per reports, Citizens’ Forum had organised a seminar at PG Council Hall of the university where the concerned JNU Professor was giving a speech. Later, he made some statements which were opposed by a student leader.

It eventually took a violent turn when a clash broke out between two groups over the same in which two persons sustained injuries.

Thereafter, both the groups have lodged FIR at Saheed Nagar Police Station in this regard.
