Sambalpur: RI in Vigilance net for taking bribe

Sambalpur: Satyanarayan Kaudi, a Revenue Inspector(RI) of Gochhara under Kuchinda Block of Sambalpur district was nabbed by the Vigilance officers while he was allegedly taking bribe today.

According to reports, Kaudi has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs 5,000 from a complainant in order to submit enquiry report related to his land in a mutation case to Tehsildar, Kuchinda for issuance of ROR (Patta) in favour of him.
The entire bribe amount of Rs 5,000has been recovered from possession of the accused Kaudi and seized, said Vigilance officer.

Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of Kaudi from DA angle.
