Senior IAS officer and present Sambalpur Collector, Ananya Das on Sunday got engaged to Balangir Collector Chanchal Rana in Sambalpur.
The IAS couple will tie the knot within three months, according to sources. This will be second wedding for both Ananya Das and Chanchal Rana.
According to information, the two exchanged rings at a special event in the presence of their family members, friends and colleagues. Chanchal Rana and Ananaya will tie the nuptial knot within three months, sources informed.
Ananaya, who hails from Assam, had earlier married to Koraput Collector Abdaal Akhtar. Similarly, Rana had married to Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh.
Das, a 2015 batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer, had previously held the position of the commissioner of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC). After getting married to Odisha-cadre IAS officer Akhtar, she was allowed to change her cadre.
Rana, an alumnus of NIT Silchar, is a 2014-batch officer and bagged seventh rank at the all India level.
