Prof Amiya Rath is new VC of BPUT

Bhubaneswar: Prof Amiya Kumar Rath, Advisor (ICT) ,NAAC, Bangalore has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of   Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) today.

He has been appointed by Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Prof Ganeshi Lal for a period of five years.

“Governor , Odisha and Chancellor of Universities, Prof. Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath , Advisor ( ICT) ,NAAC, Bangalore  as Vice Chancellor of   Biju Patnaik University of Technology for a period of five years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders whichever is earlier,” said a notification.

Prof Rath has 33 years of teaching experience.  He has authored nine books and successfully guided 12 Ph.D and 17 PG scholars.
