Utkal Dibasa 2023: Farmers to get financial assistance under KALIA Yojana


Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will distribute the financial assistance to the farmers under KALIA Yojana on Utkal Dibasa 2023 tomorrow.

More than 53 lakh farmers of the state will get Rs 2000 each, said sources.

However, since the by-election for the Jharsuguda assembly seat has been announced, the installment amount will be paid to the beneficiaries of this area after the election.

In the month of December 2018, the Chief Minister launched Kalia Yojana for the welfare of the farmers of the state. In this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 4,000 is being provided to the beneficiaries in 2 phases every year.

Kalia Yojana funds are deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
