Kalahandi medical college: 100 seats allowed from 2023-24 session

Bhubaneswar: As another significant step towards health science education in Odisha, National Medical Commission, the regulatory body of medical education and profession approved opening of Government Medical College at Bhawanipatana of Kalahandi district.

Secretary Health and Family Welfare Shalini Pandit said that this could be possible because of the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, and the institution would fulfil the long-standing aspirations of the people of Odisha.

She added, the College would have 100 intake capacity in MBBS from the academic session 2023-24.
