After Samarth Agarwal, another minor boy kidnapped in Odisha’s Jharsuguda


Jharsuguda: Days after the gruesome incident of abduction and murder of minor boy Samarth Agarwal over a ransom of Rs 90 lakh, another minor boy has allegedly been kidnapped in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.

As per reports, the minor boy from Buromaal area in the district went missing on April 7. Later, his family members lodged a complaint at Jharsuguda police station alleging that he has been kidnapped.

On the fateful day, the minor boy was at his home with his brother. His mother was hospitalized on the same day after she fell ill and his father was also present at the hospital.

Police have initiated an investigation into the matter to trace the minor boy and nab the kidnappers.

It is worth mentioning that Samarth Agarwal, son of a businessman in Jharsuguda, was kidnapped on March 27 and later his body was recovered on March 28.

As per reports, the accused identified as Amit Sharma and Dinesh Agarwal had abducted Samarth while the latter was on his way for cricket practice on a scooter.

As per the allegations, the duo first demanded Rs 50 lakh and later Rs 90 lakh ransom from Samarth’s father for his release.
