SOA Pro-VC felicitated by IITTM

Bhubaneswar: Prof. Sitikantha Mishra, who was recently appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University here, was on Thursday felicitated by the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) on his new assignment.

Prof. Mishra is a member of the Board of Governors of IITTM, an organization under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

The faculty, staff and students along with the Nodal Officer Dr. S. Hussain were present at the felicitation ceremony. Prof. Mishra is a former Director of IITTM.

On this occasion, books authored on different aspects of Odisha by Mr. Bishnumohan Panda, a former banker, was released by Prof. Mishra. Mr. Tapan Kumar Nath, former Chief Bank Officer, Punjab National Bank, also spoke on the occasion.

Prof. Mishra also inaugurated a three-month training programme for state-level Eco-Tourist Guides.
