Odisha govt hikes DA of employees by 4%

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today hiked dearness allowance (DA) by 4 per cent for its employees.
This will be implemented with retrospective effect from January 2023.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the DA hike.
With the hike, the DA has been increased from 38 per cent to 42 per cent. The state government has also hiked the TI of the pensioners by 4 per cent.
The employees and pensioners will get the hiked amount in June month.
Around 7.5 lakh employees and pensioners will be benefited following the announcement.
