BJP President Nadda accuses Odisha govt of outsourcing administration

Bhawanipatna: BJP president JP Nadda on Friday said the total administration in BJD-led Odisha government has been outsourced.

“Who is running the government in Odisha – politicians or officers? No one pays heed to even the MPs, MLAs of ruling BJD. Total administration has been outsourced,” Nadda said while addressing party workers in Bhawanipatna.

He attacked the BJD government for keeping the people poor in its 23 years of governance.

“Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government is ruling Odisha for the past 23 years. But the state still remains backward and known as a poor state,” said Nadda.

He said out of 4.5 crore people in the state, around 3.5 crore people are getting benefit under the subsidized rice scheme, which shows the poor condition of the state.

He also said actual beneficiaries are not getting houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Odisha.

“I will urge Union Minister Giriraj Singh to probe into the irregularities and put those involved in corruption behind bars,” the BJP president said.

Opposition parties’ meeting in Patna

Attacking the opposition meeting in Patna, he said it will have no impact as 140 crore people are with Narendra Modi.

He said the opposition parties’ meeting in Patna today only shows their desperation to defeat the BJP.

The leaders who once fought tooth and nail with the Congress are now welcoming them to their doorsteps in an attempt to gain power, the BJP leader said.

“Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother Indira Gandhi had put Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar in jail but today they are welcoming Rahul Gandhi in Patna. I wonder as to what has happened in politics,” Nadda said.

“Uddhav Thackeray has reached Patna today. His father ‘Hindu Samrat’ Bala Saheb Thackeray used to say that he will not allow Shiv Sena to become Congress. If I have to join hands with Congress, I will close my shop. Today Balasaheb Thackeray must be thinking that his own son has closed the shop of Shiv Sena,” he said.
