Spirit of cooperative federalism shines at NH inauguration event in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a remarkable display of unity and collaboration, the spirit of cooperative federalism took center stage at the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of various development projects in Bhubaneswar.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik set the tone for the event by affirming Odisha’s commitment to cooperative federalism. In his address, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Government of India for its unwavering support in advancing the state’s development agenda. Union Home Minister Amit Shah echoed this sentiment, applauding Odisha’s proactive approach in combating Naxalism and setting a commendable example in disaster management. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Odisha Government, under the leadership of Naveen Patnaik, in pioneering disaster management strategies that prioritize zero casualty.

Shah further highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering dedication to disaster management and praised the collaborative efforts between the central and state governments to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens during times of crises.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to the holistic development of the eastern region, particularly Odisha, was prominently emphasized during the event. Shah lauded the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership in prioritizing the growth and prosperity of the eastern part of the country.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan shed light on the significant strides made by the Narendra Modi-led government since 2014.
