Nuakhai 2023: Odisha govt to release Rs 900 crore Kalia Yojana assistance

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of Nuakhai 2023, the Odisha government on Wednesday will release Rs 900 crore as Kalia Yojana assistance to the farmers.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will release the assistance to the bank accounts of about 44 lakh small, marginal and landless farmers.

The Kalia Yojana money will be utilized for Rabi crops.  

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has extended his hearty greetings to all on the occasion of Nuakhai today.

Taking to social media platform X, Naveen posted, “My greetings and best wishes to all on the occasion of Nuakhai – the agrarian festival. May your life be filled with happiness and prosperity with the blessings of Maa Samaleswari.”
