Jio adds highest new subscribers in Odisha in July: TRAI 

Bhubaneswar: Continuing its excellent march as the most preferred digital service provider in the state, Reliance Jio has added highest number of new mobile subscribers in the month of July. As per the latest telecom subscriber data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio has added nearly 1.42 lakh new mobile subscribers in the month of July 2023. With this, Jio further consolidated its No. 1 position in the state in both wireless and wireline segment with the highest 1.43 crore mobile subscribers and 2.38 lakh JioFiber home broadband subscribers as on July 31, 2023. The overall number of mobile subscribers in the state increased by 1.5 lakh during this period.

Nationally, Jio also added highest number of mobile subscribers in the month as over 39 lakh new subscribers joined Jio network in July, revealed the latest telecom subscriber data published by TRAI. With this Jio now has over 44.2 crore mobile subscribers in the country as on July 31, 2023. Reliance Jio also added over 1.97 lakh JioFiber high speed broadband subscribers in July taking the total number of JioFiber subscribers in the country to over one crore.

It is worth mentioning that Reliance Jio has been the most preferred digital service provider in Odisha with highest number of subscribers as well as the highest revenue market share in the industry. As the No.1 digital service provider in Odisha, Jio has been rapidly expanding its True 5G network across Odisha and is the first telecom operator having 5G network presence in all districts of the state. Jio is also the only service provider to have spectrum in the premium 700 MHz band, considered more suitable for 5G network deployment. As per the district-wise data provided recently by DoT, Jio has deployed the maximum number of 5G BTS in the state taking True5G benefits across the state.
