SOA Community Radio completes 11-year of broadcasting


Bhubaneswar: Voice of SOA Community 90.4, the community radio station of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan which has won laurels at the national level for its programs, completed 11 years of broadcasting on Sunday.

A program was organised in the university to mark the day with the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda thanking the hosts, announcers and DJs of the station while urging them to keep up the excellent work.

“Radio continues to play an important role in the society,” he said.

The program was attended by Prof. Manjula Das, the university’s Controller of Examination, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare), and Mr. Deba Narayan Sethi, Working Editor of News7 television channel. Ms. Honey Patnaik, Director of Voice of SOA Community 90.4, was present in the program which was conducted by Ms. Subhrasima Mohanty, Program Coordinator.

Those who planned and broadcast programs of different categories or were part of the programs were felicitated on the occasion. RJ Ramaballav proposed the vote of thanks.
