BPUT organizes Tech Carnival 2023

Bhubaneswar: Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela organized an award ceremony – BPUT Tech Carnival 2023 today at Rourkela.

Pritiranjan Gharai, Skill Development & Technical Education Minister inaugurated the BPUT Anthem in presence of dignitaries, Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath, Vice Chancellor, BPUT, MLA Subrat Tarai, Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-charge, Rourkela Steel Plant.

More than 1500 participants of BPUT colleges, faculty members and other universities of Odisha attended the event.

Vice Chancellor, BPUT, Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath gave inaugural speech by thanking volunteers, faculties of different participating institutes for their tremendous effort for making this carnival a successful one.

Gharai emphasized the value of time and technology in todays moving world.

Bhowmick motivated the students by referring them as future nation builder and congratulated Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath for his visionary leadership to make this event a grand success.

BPUT has signed MoU with CIPET-CSTS and QSPider to conduct various activities. With support of all staff, officers, faculty members and students, the two-month-long BPUT Tech Carnival 2023 concluded today with award in 20 categories and 60 positions. Total 111 students received the awards and 1200 students witnessed the award ceremony.
