Cancellation of train services in view of ensuing cyclone Michaung


Bhubaneswar: As of now, 54 express trains originating, terminating and passing through East Coast Railway’s (ECoR’s) jurisdiction have been cancelled by Indian Railways to ensure safety of passengers.

The trains have been cancelled in  view of possible formation of cyclone Michaung. A depression is brewing over the Bay of Bengal and is likely to intensify into a Cyclonic Storm by Sunday.

Under its impact, coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha are expected to witness severe rainfall for the next two days.

Passing through -42 (21 pairs)

Puri – 01 (Puri-Chennai Exp)

Bhubaneswar – 02 (BBS-Tirupati and BBS-Bangalore Exp)

VSKP – 03 ( to Chennai, Tirupati & Cuddapah)
