Reliance Jio celebrates National Road Safety Month across Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Reliance Jio is celebrating National Road Safety Month at its offices across Odisha, including the Odisha state office in Bhubaneswar and various field locations.

Jio Odisha Business Head Pradeep Rout inaugurated the National Road Safety Month celebrations by Jio Odisha and shared valuable insights on road safety practices. The month-long celebrations will conclude on February 10, 2024.

Based on theme of ‘BE A ROAD SAFETY HERO’, the main objective of celebrating the National Road Safety Month is to create awareness on road safety, Safe Drive Save life and reduce road incidents.

The importance of key safety measures is being reinforced during the safety awareness drives followed by Road Safety Pledge and training sessions being held across Odisha. Road Safety Banners and posters are being displayed at Jio offices across the state. The month-long programme includes holding of road shows, screening of films on road safety, poem/slogan writing competitions, drawing/poster making competitions on road safety, Inspection of Vehicles and distribution of flowers, Chocolates and Badges to safety heroes.

Emphasis is being laid on wearing of helmets and seatbelts, vehicle inspection while driving two-wheelers, besides team members are also being given tips on defensive driving and safe driving in foggy weather. Jio employees are also engaging with people on the roads, giving them tips regarding safety while pinning road safety badges on them.
