Odisha: BJP to fight 21 Lok Sabha, 147 Assembly seats alone, says Manmohan

Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will fight alone this time in all 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats of Odisha, said state BJP president Manmohan Samal today.

Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, Samal said the party will fight alone in Odisha to create a developed India and a developed State under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Samal said that the BJD under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has been supporting the Narendra Modi led Central Government on many issues of national importance and we thank him for that.

“We feel that in all the states which have BJP’s double-engine governments, development and welfare work has been accelerated and the respective states are also making progress in all areas, said Samal.

“But today in Odisha various welfare schemes of the Modi government are not reaching the grass root level, due to which the poor people of the state are deprived of the benefits. We are unable to agree with the state government on many issues related to pride interests of the people of Odisha,” the BJP president said.
