Dharmendra launches campaign with blessings of Maa Dakeswari


Sambalpur: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan kicked off his election campaign with fervor, seeking the blessings of Maa Dakeswari in Angul district on Wednesday. As he sets his sights on the Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency, Pradhan embarked on a spiritual journey, offering prayers at the revered temple of Maa Dakeswari in Brahmanbila village, nestled under the Chendipada block.

Chendipada, a pivotal block falling within the Sambalpur Lok Sabha segment, holds immense significance in the electoral landscape of western Odisha. Pradhan’s decision to commence his campaign with blessings from Maa Dakeswari underscores the deep-rooted cultural ethos intertwined with political aspirations.

Amidst a grand welcome orchestrated by the residents of Brahmanbila village, Pradhan’s presence resonated as he traversed through the lanes escorted by enthusiastic supporters.

Pradhan articulated, “I have been chosen as the Lok Sabha candidate from Sambalpur constituency, and from today, I am commencing my campaigning to ensure Narendra Modi secures a third term as the Prime Minister of India.”

Pradhan’s visit to Angul district is part of a meticulously planned itinerary, symbolizing his commitment to connect with constituents across diverse terrains. Scheduled to grace a party function at Angul’s BJP district office, Pradhan’s presence embodies the party’s concerted efforts to galvanize support at the grassroots level.
