Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway General Manager (I/C) Mohes Kumar Behera today inspected the redevelopment work of both Cuttack and Bhubaneswar Railway Stations and reviewed the ongoing redevelopment works in the Railway Stations.
Behera during the inspection advised railway officials to take necessary precautions to ensure safety while on work. Timely completion of infrastructure projects and passenger amenities is also emphasized, indicating a commitment to meeting scheduled targets.
The vision to transform these stations into centers of attraction with world-class passenger facilities is ambitious and highlights a dedication to enhancing the travel experience for passengers. Inspecting both side entry points and circulating areas of Cuttack & Bhubaneswar Railway Stations by Behera demonstrates a thorough assessment of the redevelopment progress.
The Development works for entry points will have facilities like Parking for Two/Three/Four Wheelers, Pickup and Drop point, Parking for Ambulance, VIP Vehicles etc., including Wider Approach Roads, Air concourse for passengers waiting, Foot Over Bridge, Integrated Passenger announcement system and Fire alarm protection system, Food stalls, Provisions for Divyangjan passengers, Baggage scanners, Retiring rooms, Passenger flow management system, Integrated CCTV surveillance, etc. Senior officials from ECoR headquarters led by Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) A G Srinivas were present on the occasion.
