Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on May 7 for campaigning ahead of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.
As per the schedule, PM Modi will address a public rally in Nabarangpur and garner support for BJP candidates of Nabarangpur, Berhampur, Koraput, and Kalahandi Lok Sabha seats, and the 21 Assembly constituencies under them which will go to polls on May 13.
He is also scheduled to hold a road show in Nabarangpur with the party’s MLA and MP candidates.
Notably, BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah had campaigned for party’s candidates.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit the tribal-majority Rayagada district on May 3 to address his second public meeting in the state ahead of Lok Sabha and state assembly polls.
The Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha will be held simultaneously in four phases — May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
