Bhubaneswar: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today released its final list of candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly elections.
The BJD announced its candidates for three assembly seats and replaced the party’s candidate from Deogarh with a new nominee.
The regional party has fielded Sabitri Pradhan from Khandapada, Sukanta Kumar Nayak from Nilgiri and Sandhya Rani Das from Korai.
The party has replaced its Deogarh candidate Arundhati Devi and nominated Romancha Ranjan Biswal as its new candidate. Deogarh comes under Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency.
Notably, the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha will be held simultaneously in four phases — May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
