Mahanadi Mines and Minerals Pvt Ltd organizes farmer training programs

Sundergarh: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Mahanadi Mines and Minerals Private Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, conducted farmer training programs in Girisima and Jharpalam villages for farmers.

Chandraba Majhi, Sarpanch of Jharpalam, and Shashi Bhushan Pradhan, Block Agriculture Officer, participated in these programs.

The primary objective of the training was to equip farmers with knowledge of modern agricultural techniques. This knowledge aims to reduce farming expenses and increase productivity.

During the sessions, Pradhan also informed farmers about various welfare schemes offered by the agriculture department and encouraged them to avail of these benefits.

Over 150 farmers benefited from the training programs. At the conclusion of each session, few farmers received kitchen garden kits. These kits included seeds of diverse vegetables and essential small agricultural implements.

Panchayat members from Girisima and Jharpalam villages, along with the CSR team of Mahanadi Mines and Minerals Pvt Ltd, were present throughout the training sessions.
