Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on January 8 to attend the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, which will be held in Bhubaneswar.
As per the official schedule, PM Modi will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 8:00 PM on January 8. He will travel via a special Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Following his arrival, the Prime Minister will spend the night at Raj Bhawan in the state capital.
On January 9, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Janata Maidan, the venue for the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2025. He is expected to reach the venue by 9:55 AM, just ahead of the event’s scheduled start at 10:00 AM.
The Prime Minister will participate in the convention for approximately 90 minutes. At 11:35 AM, he will leave for the airport, with his return flight to Delhi departing at 11:55 AM. He is expected to arrive in the national capital at 2:20 PM.
Preparations for the event are in full swing, with the Odisha state government working diligently to ensure its success. The city of Bhubaneswar has been extensively beautified, and Odisha DGP has confirmed that elaborate security arrangements are being put in place to facilitate the event and ensure the safety of all attendees.
