QAT raids ‘Rain The Club’ bar in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Quick Action Team (QAT) of Commissionerate Police on Saturday conducted at a bar “Rain The Club’ here and seized a huge quantity of expensive foreign liquor.

The police have detained three persons for allegedly selling liquor by violating the lockdown norms. The seized liquor will be worth lakhs of rupees.

The bar was reportedly engaged in illegal sale of liquor at exorbitant prices.

The QAT raided Rain Club bar situated in Cuttack road area of Bhubaneswar and seized a huge consignment of expensive foreign liquor.

An official of QAT said action will be taken for breaching the lockdown norms.

Notably, the state government is yet to allow opening of liquor shops and bars in the lockdown.
