Learners licence test to start from Nov 16


Bhubaneswar: The Learners Licence (LL) test will start from November 16 in Odisha, informed the State Transport Authority (STA) on Thursday.

Existing LL applicants can book the slot from 11 am on November 12.

Application for new LL will not be accepted to provide the opportunity to the existing applicants, the STA said.

In view of the then prevailing situation due to COVID-19 pandemic, Learner’s License services was suspended.

1. The slots booked for LL test have been cancelled w.e.f 18.03.2020.

 2. The fee already paid for LL test will remain valid.

3. The LL slot booking will be available w.e.f 11 AM on 12th November, 2020.

4. Thereafter test slots will be opened for booking from 7 AM to 10 PM every day. The applicants have better chance to book their favorite slot at 7 AM every day.

5. Only the existing LL applicants can book the slot.

 6. The date for applicants to apply for new LL will be notified later on.

 7. The LL test will resume from 16th November, 2020. 8. The slot duration will be of 15 mins. duration which will include 10 mins. of test time. A candidate has to answer at least 12 questions correctly out of 20 nos. of questions to pass the test.

9. The candidate are not allowed inside the office prior to more than 45 mins. of the slot time.

10. Candidates may undergo the LL mock test in www.parivahan.gov.in

11. The applicants must wear masks and follow the social distancing norms at the testing centre/office.

12. The applicants from Containment Zone will not be allowed for any test. In case, any such applicant tries to enter in office, the matter will be informed to the local Police.

13. Applicants are advised not to bring their friends and relatives with them to the office.

14. Applicants with symptomatic sign of COVID-19 are not allowed for the test.

15. In case of emergent situation due to Covid pandemic leading to shutdown of the office, the test may be cancelled at short notice.

16. Applicants are advised not to visit RTO office for any enquiry regarding Learner’s License.
