Bhubaneswar: Class 10 students will appear the matriculation or annual Odisha High School Certification (HSC) exams 2021 at their own schools to ensure minimum travel, said the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) said on Friday.
“The Class-X students will appear in their board examination this year at their own schools,” informed Ramashis Hazra, BSE President.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said in view of the Covid-19, the government has taken a decision that the Class X students will appear in their board examination this year at their own schools.
The students will appear the examination for two hours this year instead of two and half hours.
The exam will be held from 8 AM to 10 AM following all social distancing and COVID-19 norms, said BSE sources.
The 10th board exam 2021 is scheduled to be held from May 3 to 15 this year.
