JSPL to build Container Manufacturing Unit at Paradip Port

Paradip: Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) has expressed its interest to build a Container Manufacturing Unit at Paradip Port.

JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal in a visit to Paradip Port discussed about the project, which will be the first of its kind in Odisha, said sources.

This will be a port-based Container Manufacturing Unit and will be built over 100 acres of land, the sources added.

It is learnt that the port authorities have agreed to provide 100 acres of land for the proposed project.

Accompanied by a team of senior officials, Jindal had a meeting with authorities of Paradip Port Trust.

He also discussed about JSPL’s proposal for a dedicated railway freight corridor from Angul to Paradip.

He also visited various other facilities of Paradip Port.
