AM/NS India delivers 100 units of oxygen cylinders to Paradip Port Trust


Bhubaneswar: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) delivered 100 medical grade oxygen cylinders to Paradip Port Trust (PPT) to bring relief to victims of Covid-19.

The handing over ceremony took place at the Paradip Port Trust Hospital and witnessed by Asish Kumar Bose, Deputy Chairman along with Dr. Prahallad Panda, Chief Medical Officer, and other senior officials of PPT.

Speaking on the occasion, Asish Kumar Bose, Dy Chairman, PPT said, “The effort taken by AM/NS India will help us fighting against Covid19 pandemic collaboratively and we are thankful to AMNS India for taking initiatives for the treatment of coronavirus-affected patients.”

G. Suresha, Executive Director (Odisha Operations) at AM/NS India, said, “The country is now facing the biggest public health crisis and our focus throughout this pandemic has been the health of our people, our communities. We appreciate the State Government for taking necessary measures that have helped us in strengthening our hands further in the fight against COVID-19. We have a responsibility to support the government at the need of the hour. We are confident that we will overcome this crisis, together.”
