Lockdown will return if Covid norms not followed: CM

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday said lockdown will return if Covid-19 guidelines are not followed strictly.

Reviewing the Covid situation in the state, the Chief Minister said responsible behaviour during the festival time will be vital to limit the spread of Covid during the third wave.

He said the people need to be careful and follow the COVID guideline strictly in order to protect themselves from the possible third wave.

“We shall be in danger even if minor negligence is done to adhere to the Covid norms,” said Patnaik.

“Children have not been vaccinated yet, so we have to be careful for them,” he added.
