Bhubaneswar, Cuttack to experience moderate rainfall

Several districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall in the next three hours, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar informed at 1.25 pm today.

“Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm with  lightning very likely to occur over  some parts of the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, ,Sambalpur, Jharsuguda , Khurda (including Bhubaneswar City), Cuttack ( including Cuttack City ), Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Bolangir and Bargarh during next  three hours, Regional Meteorological Centre said.

The IMD asked people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move  to  safer places to protect from lightning strike.
