Odisha: Arun Sarangi appointed OPSC Chairman

Bhubaneswar: 1990-batch IPS officer Arun Kumar Sarangi has been appointed as Chairman, Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for six years.

A notification issued by the General Administration department today said the Governor has been pleased to appoint Arun Kumar Sarangi as Chairman, OPSC.  

Sarangi has been appointed for 6 years or till he attains 62-years of age whichever is earlier.

He was in-charge DGP of Odisha till 16th August 2024. He is now posted as Special DG, Training and Director, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA).
