Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj lauds Adani’s Mahaprasad seva at Mahakumbh 2025


Prayagraj: Adani Group has collaborated with organisation like ISCKON. Gita Press for distributing free Prasad and devotional literature. In this Prasad distribution programme aiming to serve sanctified cooked meals to devotees.

Over the 45 days of Mahakumbh mela, approximately one lakh devotees are being served daily in multiple locations across the Triveni Sangam area.

Appreciating this initiative Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj said “wealth has three paths or destiny. Dana (Charity), Bhoga (Consumption) and Nasha (Destruction) and the first path is charity. The wealth given in charity is the greatest wealth. At this sacred moment the Adani Parivar has offered sacred offering of food (Anna ki Ahuti) to nourish people here at Mahakumbh. We recognize this as a divine act of sacrifice and service. We are pleased that divine continues to bless them with strength to carry forward their noble work”.

About the Prasad Sevan Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said, “it is my good fortune in Mahakumbh in collaboration with ISCKON we are serving Mahaprasad Seva for the devotees, in which free food are being distributed to lakhs of people with the blessings of Maa Arnapurna.”

Kinnar Akhara chief Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi says, “The way the Adani Group, in collaboration with Iskcon, ran the 24-hour food service during the entire fair is commendable. I sincerely appreciate their efforts. I am also glad to see the comfort they are providing to elderly people through their services. My heartfelt blessings to the Adani Group, as food donation is the greatest form of charity.”

It should be noted here that the Adani Group and ISKCON have joined hands to serve meals to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13. The Mahaprasad will be offered for the entire duration of the mela, which is scheduled to end on February 26.
